LEAGUE OFFICIALS & JOB DISCRIPTIONS

2009-2010

At the Annual General Meeting following each period of Office the incumbent shall retire but be eligible for re-election. Nominations for each Office shall be made in writing and must be sent together with names of a proposer and a seconder to the Honorary Secretary no later than 30th April each year. Any Full Member of the League may propose or second a nomination for Office. The persons holding office shall be automatically declared nominated (without the need for them to be proposed or seconded) for a further term at the end of each period unless they decline to hold office by giving notice of such decision to the Honorary Secretary prior to the date fixed for the Annual General Meeting. The Officers shall be elected at the Annual General Meeting and such hold office for a one-year term.  

 

Individual responsibilities of elected officers are as detailed and published below from time to time. In general all elected officers should conduct oneself in a manner applicable to the League’s status, should be computer literate and have access to broadband internet facilities (preferably at home), must have a home telephone number and/or mobile telephone, should be comfortable and confident in addressing Management and Full Committee Meetings involving clubs etc and should be able to communicate in a professional manner in both writing and verbally. All positions are honourable and as such attract no payment. Out of pocket expenses will be paid, subject to completion of an official expenses claim form with attached receipts, providing that the expense has been incurred in the role of BADSFL Officer.
