There so many rumours circulating that it would be foolish to ignore them. The main topic surrounds the mixed messages coming out of the Railway Tavern camp. The manager and secretary, to be fair, say they ‘may’ have a team next season but some of the players have made it known that they are ‘not interested’ in playing. We, the committee, have to wait and see and will known very soon – 31st of March will be the definitive date. The future membership of Lakenheath Casuals is more disturbing. The club has never hidden the fact that they opposed the Constitution of two divisions this season and are considering a move next season. It is readily accepted that two divisions has not been a success and it is to be hoped that a return to one division next season may encourage the only founder member club to stay with us. It would be their 40th year in membership. The other talking point going the rounds is that SFC Green Dragon will fold and the majority of players, together with the manager, will join forces with the fledgling club, Tugas United. And then there is the membership of Barcelona Rangers FC to consider!!!!!!
